t's bulletproof glass—not rocket-propelled-grenade-proof glass
As it turns out, bulletproof glass isn't exactly great at protecting against explosive projectiles like, say, a shoulder-launched RPG-7.
Russian channel Crash Zone recently took up the challenge, putting 16 inches of bulletproof glass up against the anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade. They also placed half of a dummy behind the makeshift shield, though the footage of the experiment makes it pretty clear that anyone back there would be, at best, devastatingly injured.
Undeterred, the group made a second attempt with a piece of the glass in front of the thicker group, possibly intended to provide a sort of blast shield against the brunt of the impact. It doesn't help. In fact, it seems to just add more debris to the destruction. Fun to watch, but probably not so fun to experience in person.
