THE STEYR GL 40 – LIGHT WEIGHT – HEAVY IMPACT

Developed by STEYR MANNLICHER the STEYR GL 40 is a light weight grenade launcher for standard low velocity 40 mm ammunition. Due to it’s design and various mounting options it can be used as an under barrel launcher for the STEYR AUG.

A version with picatinny interface permits attachment on various other assault rifles. With a new designed adjustable stock it can also be used as a standalone grenade launcher. It is available either with a quick detachable mount or a mount for picatinny rail (Mil. Std. 1913).

Thanks to the fast and easy sideloading breech configuration all types of 40 mm grenades can be used. This provides superior combat capabilities.
